About our Principals

AAA Employment was founded by John V. DeHaven in  St. Petersburg, Florida in 1957. Mr. DeHaven’s goal was to offer an alternative to the high priced agencies by streamlining the placement process. His more efficient method has proven successful with candidates and employers alike. AAA Employment grew to over 130 offices.

In 1967, John V. DeHaven started and developed AAA Employment, Inc., combining the activities of his office and those he developed for AAA Employment, Inc. Recently he completely separated from AAA Employment, Inc. maintaining his original AAA Employment offices in the following counties in Florida: Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, Hernando, Hillsborough, Lee Manatee, Orange, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk Sarasota and Seminole.

In 1978 V. Jane Kappler joined AAA Employment in the St. Petersburg office. Having been a Human Resource Manager and Vice President of a Large Development Co., Ms. Kappler had been an employer using the services of AAA Employment through out the state of Florida. Ms. Kappler was able to bring her insight to an employer’s needs and was quickly promoted to management within the St. Petersburg area. In 1979, when retirement created an opportunity for partnership in Ft. Myers, Ms. Kappler immediately relocated and assumed the position she still maintains as the managing partner. Her experience in the Lee County Employment market has consistently made AAA Employment the leading source for Employer’s and Candidates alike.
